What Inspired this Painting?

This painting was inspired by what the artist saw along the Atlantic shore during one of her trips visiting Ormond Beach, Florida. One visit was during springtime. As she walked along the shore, she came upon this area where large rocks rested on the sand, and they were covered with vibrant green algae.
